A super cute introduction into the world and characters. I immediately fell in love with Charlie and Nick. I found them and their meet up story cute, fun & interesting. The only reason it wasnโ€™t a 5โญ๏ธ read for me was that the plot was a little predictable. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it fully. I also wasnโ€™t a huge fan of the art style, especially the speech balloons which I found messy & distracting.

ps. I love Miss Singh!

An amazing sequel to an already incredible series. I love the development of the characters and their relationship in this book. I especially enjoyed reading about Nickโ€™s journey of self discovery and Charlieโ€™s support. And, while it was sad to read at times, I enjoyed reading about their friends. Itโ€™s truly amazing how sometimes we canโ€™t realize how toxic our friends are until they start hurting someone we love.

ps. I ADORE TORI!

The third volume of 'Heartstopper' is as delightful as the previous two. Like always, I loved Nick and Charlieโ€™s development as both, a couple and individuals. They are so cute! However, surprisingly, my favorite part of this volume was not Charlie and Nick nor their relationship. Instead I found myself enjoying the development of the side characters in the story the most.

As always, Miss Singh was a queen, Tara & Elle were still super cute and Mr. Farouk was such a mood! I pity and love that man. Thankfully, he had Mr. Ajayi to keep him company ๐Ÿ˜‰. But the best of all were Tao & Elle. They are ADORABLE! Somehow, in the course of one volume, I went from disliking Tao to relating with him SO HARD. I too am the loud, insecure, protective friend that puts their foot in their mouth a lot! ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ’ž

I also enjoyed how this volume introduced new conflicts in our main characters lives. Donโ€™t get me wrong, I have loved reading this (mostly) drama free fluffy volume, but by introducing these new conflicts in our main charactersโ€™ lives the author makes the world feel more real and thus, in my opinion, makes the story more relatable and intriguing. I canโ€™t wait to see how the characters face these conflicts in the next installments.

While different in many ways, this volume of Heartstopper is as beautiful as the first three. Like Volumes 1 through 3, this volume had adorable moments between Charlie & Nick and the other characters that we have grown to love. But its strength does not lie on the cute moments, but on its exploration of mental health.

I believe that Oseman handled incredibly well the darker topics of this volume. I especially enjoyed how she not only portrayed how a mental health crisis affects the person suffering from it, but also those that love them. Oseman expertly used each of her characters to show the uncertainty and hopelessness that can come with suffering from a mental health illness and watching someone you love struggle with it. Furthermore, through her characters, Oseman portrays different ways in which we can help ourselves and others through such crisis.

Nick & Charlie were both incredible characters in this volume. Their journey, although rough, was so inspiring and real. I am incredibly glad that Oseman took the time to develop these characters as unique people and partners before introducing the conflict explored in this volume. It made their struggles much more heart wrenching and real.

โœจI recommend these books to anyone looking for a short, cute and fluffy romance. Itโ€™s a super cute fast read that I think anyone can enjoy. Plus, it explores important themes related with the LGBT+ community.
